Cumulating over 15 years experience in the mechanical engineering field, Nicolas has touched almost every aspect of the lifecycle of a product. From being a machinist to programming CNC machines, Research & Development, product testing and certification, process engineering up to Operations Manager in a multinational construction company, Nicolas have developed a vision of product design that minimize waste by connecting the different departments in a company. The key is eliminating "silos" with duplicate or mismatching data and replacing them with a “conveyor” that feeds data from the previous operation and adds value for the next operation. In order to execute his vision, he got additional training in computer programming. His expertise is in a broad range of fields like plastic injection, CNC milling and routing, turret punching, building envelope (curtain wall, aluminum cladding), lifting and below the hook devices, hollow metal doors and frames, steel structures and factory layout.
